Pizza Deal 2

Description

Pizza Deal 2 Market Deeping: two 9 inch pizzas with 2 toppings for one set price, baked to order at Eastern Promise on the High Street. It is the smaller, cheaper version of our two-pizza deal, ideal when you want a pizza each without overdoing it.

A 9 inch pizza is a comfortable size for one adult or an older child, so this deal works well for couples, flatmates or a parent and child.

Pizza Deal 2 Market Deeping: what you get

• 2 x 9 inch pizzas
• 2 toppings

Every pizza starts with cheese and tomato on a pizza base, then you choose the toppings. Our topping list includes mushroom, pepperoni, ham, pineapple, onions, peppers, sweetcorn, olives, tomato, jalapenos, donner, chicken, chicken tikka, beef and mince.

9 inch or 12 inch?

The difference is bigger than it sounds. A 12 inch pizza has roughly 75% more pizza than a 9 inch one, because area grows with the square of the width. That is why Pizza Deal 2 Market Deeping is the better choice for lighter appetites, while Pizza Deal 1 with two 12 inch pizzas suits three hungry adults.

If you want sides and a drink in the same order, the Eastern Pizza Deal includes two 12 inch pizzas, cheesy garlic bread, large chips and a bottle of Coke.

Topping ideas

With two toppings to play with, these pairings are hard to beat:

• Pepperoni and jalapenos for a little heat
• Ham and mushroom for a mild, savoury pizza kids usually like
• Chicken and sweetcorn for something light
• Donner and onion for a kebab shop pizza
• Peppers and olives for a vegetarian option

Need more? Add anything else with Extra Toppings.

Good for kids’ tea

Two 9 inch pizzas make an easy tea for two children, with a slice or two left for a grown-up to pinch. Keep one pizza plain with mild toppings and let the other be more adventurous. If you have younger children, have a look at our kids meals too.

A Pizza Deal 2 Market Deeping order also suits anyone eating alone who wants tonight’s dinner and tomorrow’s lunch sorted in one go.

Reheating leftover slices

If a slice or two survives the night, keep it covered in the fridge and eat it within a day. The best way to bring it back is a dry frying pan on a medium heat with a lid on top for three or four minutes: the base crisps up and the cheese melts again.

An oven works too at around 200°C for five minutes. Skip the microwave if you can, because it turns the crust chewy. Leftovers from a Pizza Deal 2 Market Deeping order make a quick lunch the next day.
