Ali’s Signature Box

Description

Ali’s Signature Box Market Deeping is the biggest box on our meal deal menu. It brings together Ali’s Special Burger, three chicken wings, three mozzarella sticks, chicken donner and lamb donner on a bed of chips, with two dips of your choice and a bottle of drink.

If you cannot decide between a burger, fried chicken and a kebab, this box means you do not have to. It is made up to order at Eastern Promise, 60 High Street, Market Deeping.

Ali’s Signature Box Market Deeping: everything inside

• Ali’s Special Burger
• 3 chicken wings
• 3 mozzarella sticks
• Chicken donner
• Lamb donner
• Chips
• 2 dips of your choice
• 1 bottle of drink

That is five different things to eat in one box, from a full burger to two kinds of donner meat, plus crispy wings and gooey mozzarella sticks to pick at in between.

Chicken donner and lamb donner, side by side

Having both donners in an Ali’s Signature Box Market Deeping order is a good way to taste the difference. Lamb donner is the traditional kebab shop meat: rich, well seasoned and a little fatty, which is exactly what makes it so satisfying. Chicken donner is lighter and leaner, and it soaks up sauce brilliantly.

Use one of your two dips on each, and you have two completely different kebab bites in one meal.

Who is it for?

Ali’s Signature Box Market Deeping is built for sharing. Two adults will find it a big feed, and three can share it comfortably, especially with a side added. One very determined person can tackle it alone, though we would suggest saving room.

If you want something smaller from the same idea, look at our Eastern Promise Star Box with two burgers, cheesy chips and cheese melts, or the 10 inch Munch Box with donner and chicken tikka.

Picking your two dips

Two dips come with every box, and with this much variety it is worth choosing well. Our standard dips include ketchup, mayonnaise, garlic mayonnaise, BBQ, chilli, sweet chilli and peri-peri.

Garlic mayonnaise is a safe bet for the donner and chips, and BBQ or sweet chilli goes well with the wings. Want something different? We also make homemade garlic and herb dip and homemade chilli sauce.

Making the most of the box

Eat the wings and mozzarella sticks first, while they are at their crispiest, and keep the burger in its wrapper until you are ready for it. Pour sauce over the donner rather than the chips if you want the chips to stay crunchy.

Anything left over from an Ali’s Signature Box Market Deeping order reheats best in a hot oven or air fryer for a few minutes.
