Description
7 inch Munch Box Market Deeping, the smallest box in our munch box range and a full kebab-shop meal for one. Donner meat, chicken tikka, chips, a naan bread, salad, a pot of sauce and a soft drink, all packed into one box at Eastern Promise, 60 High Street.
The 7 inch Munch Box Market Deeping order is for nights when you cannot decide between kebab and chips, so you have both.
What’s inside the 7 inch Munch Box Market Deeping customers order
- Donner meat
- Chicken tikka
- Chips
- 1 naan bread
- Salad
- 1 pot of sauce
- 1 soft drink
Everything sits together in a 7 inch box, so the chips pick up the juices from the meat. Use the naan to wrap a bite, or tear it up and scoop.
Who is it for?
The 7 inch box suits one person with a normal appetite. If you are really hungry, or sharing with someone, step up to the 10 inch Munch Box. For two to share, the 12 inch Munch Box comes with two naans, two drinks and two pots of sauce.
Prefer chicken pieces to kebab meat? Our Promise 10 inch Munch Box swaps the donner for nuggets, popcorn chicken, strips and cheese melts.
Where the munch box comes from
Munch boxes, sometimes called munchy boxes, grew out of kebab shops in Scotland and spread across the UK. The idea never changed: load a box with a bit of everything the shop cooks and let people dig in.
Our 7 inch Munch Box Market Deeping version keeps it to the two favourites, donner and chicken tikka, so it stays a sensible size for one.
Make it bigger
Add extra dips if one pot of sauce is never enough, or a side from extras and sides. Want more kebab? Have a look at our kebabs and kebab meat portions.

How to get the most out of a 7 inch Munch Box Market Deeping order
Open the lid as soon as you get it home. Steam is the enemy of chips, and a box left closed on the worktop for ten minutes goes soft fast.
Pour your sauce over the meat rather than the chips if you like them to stay crisp, or straight over everything if you do not care. Tear the naan into strips and use it to scoop up the donner and tikka together.
Eating on the go? The 7 inch Munch Box Market Deeping size fits on your lap in the car without too much of a balancing act, which is more than we can say for the 12 inch.
