Meal Deal 9

Description

Meal Deal 9 Market Deeping: a chicken fillet burger, chips and a can of drink, cooked to order at Eastern Promise on the High Street. A whole piece of chicken fillet in a bun is a different thing from a shaped chicken patty, and this meal is built around it.

If you want a chicken burger with proper bite, a Meal Deal 9 Market Deeping order is the one to choose.

Meal Deal 9 Market Deeping: what’s included

• Chicken fillet burger
• Chips
• 1 can of drink

A fillet burger is normally made from a whole piece of chicken breast in a crispy coating, served in a bun. Tell us when you order if you would like salad or a particular sauce on it.

Fillet burger vs standard chicken burger

A standard chicken burger is usually made from a formed patty: even in shape, quick to cook and mild. A fillet burger uses a whole cut of chicken, so it is thicker, juicier and has more texture when you bite into it.

Both have their place. For the lighter, cheaper option, Meal Deal 7 has our standard chicken burger with salad and sauce. For something spicier, Meal Deal 13 has a zinger burger.

Sauces that suit a fillet burger

Mayonnaise lets the chicken speak for itself. Garlic mayonnaise adds flavour without heat, BBQ brings sweetness, and peri-peri or our homemade chilli sauce adds a kick. Try our chipotle mayo dip for a smoky middle ground.

Want a pot for your chips too? Add one from our dips.

Who it suits

This meal suits anyone who prefers chicken to beef but wants something more substantial than nuggets or popcorn chicken. It is a solid single dinner, and it slots easily into a family order next to pizzas, kebabs or other meal deals.

Love chicken? Our fried chicken range has wings, strips and more, and our special burgers go bigger still.

Eating it at its best

The crispy coating is best in the first few minutes, so do not leave it sealed in the bag for long. Eat the chips first while they are hot. If you are collecting a Meal Deal 9 Market Deeping order, open the bag slightly on the way home so steam can escape.

A leftover fillet reheats well in a hot oven or air fryer. Take it out of the bun first and warm the bun separately for a minute.

Making it a bigger meal

A Meal Deal 9 Market Deeping order is a filling dinner on its own, but it is easy to build on. Add cheesy chips instead of plain, a portion of mozzarella sticks to share, or a second can if someone is pinching your chips. For a weekend treat, finish with one of our cookie doughs or a slice of cake.

Goes well with

Add a chipotle mayo dip, onion rings from extras and sides, or a shake from our milkshakes. See all bundles in meal deals.
