Meal Deal 10

Description

Meal Deal 10 Market Deeping: eight pieces of popcorn chicken with chips and a can of drink, cooked to order at Eastern Promise on the High Street. Small, crunchy, easy to eat and easy to share, popcorn chicken is the snackiest thing on our chicken menu.

A Meal Deal 10 Market Deeping order makes a quick dinner for one, a good teenage tea or a handy addition to a bigger family order.

Meal Deal 10 Market Deeping: what’s included

• 8 piece popcorn chicken
• Chips
• 1 can of drink

Popcorn chicken is bite-sized pieces of chicken in a crispy coating, so there is more crunch in every mouthful than you get from a bigger piece. Eat them with your fingers, a fork or straight from the box.

Popcorn chicken, nuggets or strips?

We have three chicken piece meal deals, and each one has its fans:

• Meal Deal 2: 8 nuggets, the most familiar for kids
• Meal Deal 10 (this one): 8 popcorn chicken, smaller pieces with more crunch
• Meal Deal 11: 8 chicken strips, longer pieces with more chicken in each one

Can’t decide? The Promise 10 inch Munch Box puts nuggets, popcorn chicken and strips in one box with cheese melts and onion rings.

Best dips for popcorn chicken

Popcorn chicken is made for dipping, and small pieces mean you get a little sauce with every bite. Sweet chilli and BBQ are crowd-pleasers. For something creamier, try our chipotle mayo dip or homemade garlic and herb dip. Want heat? Our buffalo dip or peri-peri will do it.

Add a couple of pots from our dips to your order.

Good for sharing and snacking

Because the pieces are small, popcorn chicken is easy to share in front of a film or a match. Two people can split a Meal Deal 10 Market Deeping order as a snack, or one person can have it as a full meal with the chips.

It is also a good option for children who find a whole burger too much.

Keeping it crunchy

Popcorn chicken is at its best fresh, so open the box as soon as it arrives. On a drive home, leave the box lid slightly open so steam can escape. Leftovers reheat well in an air fryer or a hot oven for three or four minutes; avoid the microwave if you can.

Turning it into a bigger feast

If you are hungry, it is easy to build on a Meal Deal 10 Market Deeping order. Swap the plain chips for cheesy chips, add a portion of mozzarella sticks or hash browns, or pair it with a pizza for a mixed night in. A box of popcorn chicken in the middle of the table also makes a good side for a family pizza order.

Goes well with

Add a buffalo dip, onion rings from extras and sides, or a shake from our milkshakes. More chicken is in our fried chicken range.
