Description
Meal Deal 11 Market Deeping: eight chicken strips with chips and a can of drink, cooked to order at Eastern Promise on the High Street. Strips are the most filling of our fried chicken pieces, with more chicken in every piece and a crispy coating all the way round.
If nuggets feel too small and a burger feels like too much bread, a Meal Deal 11 Market Deeping order sits nicely in between.
Meal Deal 11 Market Deeping: what’s included
- 8 chicken strips
- Chips
- 1 can of drink
Chicken strips are long pieces of chicken in a crispy coating. They are easy to hold, easy to dip and substantial enough that eight of them with chips makes a proper meal.
Strips, nuggets or popcorn chicken?
- Meal Deal 2: 8 nuggets, small and familiar
- Meal Deal 10: 8 popcorn chicken, the crunchiest bite
- Meal Deal 11 (this one): 8 strips, the most chicken per piece
Prefer your strips in bread? Meal Deal 12 puts chicken strips in a naan with small chips and a can.
Dips that suit chicken strips
Strips are long enough to give a proper scoop of sauce. BBQ, sweet chilli and garlic mayonnaise are all on our standard dip list. For something different, try our chipotle mayo dip, the tangy Algerian sauce dip, or a hot buffalo dip.
Add a pot or two from our dips to your order.
Who it suits
A Meal Deal 11 Market Deeping order suits anyone who loves fried chicken but wants it in bigger pieces than nuggets. It works as a single dinner, a post-training refuel for teenagers, or a mild option for younger eaters in a family order.
For a full chicken feast, see our fried chicken range, including wings and bigger boxes.
Keeping it crispy
Eat the strips while they are fresh and hot, ideally within ten minutes. Leave the lid slightly open on the way home so steam escapes and the coating stays crisp. Leftovers reheat well in a hot oven or air fryer for four or five minutes.
Turning it into a bigger meal
Hungry? Add cheesy chips, onion rings or mozzarella sticks from our sides, or pair your Meal Deal 11 Market Deeping order with a small pizza for a mixed night in. Chicken strips also make a good extra for a family pizza order: easy to share and popular with kids.
Goes well with
Add an Algerian sauce dip, mozzarella sticks from extras and sides, or a shake from our milkshakes. See more bundles in meal deals.
